SUPER LASER

A new instrument that was once an innovation was created inside the borders of the National Ignition Facility which they call the "Super Laser", aka the "star on earth."
Super Laser is the largest laser in the world at a target of the size of a pencil eraser. It will use 192 world-class lasers, all firing simultaneously. In a few billionths of a second about 500 trillion watts, which is nearly 1000 times the power generated in the entire US at any moment, will hit a target the size of a dime. The hope is that this will create enough heat and pressure to mimic the core of the sun and achieve a fusion ignition.
The super laser can generate electricity more powerful than that of the ordinary electric powers we use. In difference with geothermal power plants, nuclear powers and other electric producers, the super laser is cheap and environmentally friendly since it doesn't get source from nature and doesn't create pollution. The laser will be used in astrophysics, allowing scientists to mimic conditions inside planets and new solar systems.
As the news spilled on my ears, a feeling of admiration was formed. Wow. I was totally amazed knowing that it can beat the heat of the sun's core. What a creation! It's like reading a Cinderella book. It's a good news also knowing it could be a good alternative for power plants. The super laser is genuinely one of a kind invention the world again has created.
